Great fun

Fly Me Home is a feel good romance with an erotic edge to it. I really enjoyed this book - it's funny, sweet but oh so sexy. The storyline was intriguing and the main characters were both interesting. I'd have liked it to be just a touch longer though, as it's a fairly quick read. If you're looking to escape from the real world for a couple of hours, this is the ideal book for you.
Elizabeth is a reporter for a local newspaper and she needs a big story, and she thinks she'll find it at the Fashion for the Future ball. Saved from embarrassment by top fashion critic Ian Malcolm, he makes her an offer she can't refuse. He'll give her a story if she'll keep him company on a long trip and keep the media off of his back. On a whirlwind adventure around the world, Ian shows Elizabeth a world of sensual pleasure she never knew existed. When the trip is over will they still want more?
This is a fun book, it's very entertaining but also very sexy. The relationship dynamics between Ian and Elizabeth were interesting - and their chemistry was red hot! This is the first book that I've read by this author, but it won't be the last. Fly Me Home receives four out of five stars.

Elizabeth is a reporter tasked to get a fashion inside scoop story and the best way to do that is to attend a Fashion For the Future Gala. Unfortunately her boss didn't think to get her a ticket for entry to the gala, so she has to be creative in order to sneak in. During her "sneak in", she's caught by Ian Malcolm-guru fashion critic! Ian saves her from certain humiliation and their connection is sizzling!
Ian is tired of playing games. He's tired of the whole fashion rat race of fake people and anyone willing to ride his coattails to fame and fortune. Elizabeth is the fresh prospective he didn't know he needed. She's funny and in a matter of moments, he realizes he's really enjoying her company. He makes her an offer-travel with him on the fashion runway circuit, and he will get her the story she needs. Plus it will keep the media at bay regarding his bachelor status. Win-win for the both of them!
Ian's offer is too good to pass up for Elizabeth! She's never been anywhere, especially outside the US! So she has to take it-plus who wouldn't want to spend time with someone as sexy as him?? As Ian flies her to exotic places on a worldwide tour, he loves seeing these places, that he's been so many times before, with Elizabeth's fresh eyes! It gives him a new lease on life, so to speak. Of course the trip would not be complete without a sexual awakening for Elizabeth as well! Let's just say, Ian is a sexual dynamo! Whew! It is getting hot in here!! I absolutely loved how Ian took her limited experience, and built her into a strong and confident woman who isn't afraid to ask for what she wanted. That doesn't happen overnight and I relished the journey she was on! He's got such a way with words-did I mention it was super hot???
Once the trip is over and reality is back, Ian and Elizabeth each have their demons to work through. Both have a deep hole and a sense of hunger that only the other can fill. Each come from totally different backgrounds and worlds, that they are at a quandary on how to mix the two-but both are miserable. I really liked that Ian seemed to totally embrace Elizabeth and all she had to offer especially her small-town perspective.
I appreciated the dual point of views, so we get a real feel of the character each had. I am a fan of the dual POV. This was done right! It flowed seamlessly and Candi Wall did a great job of giving us that little bit of extra information we crave without being overly wordy or too involved in one's head. Fly Me Home is Book four in the Home is Where the Heat Is series and can be read as a standalone. I enjoyed it so much I intend to go back and catch up on the others in the series! Candi Wall is making a name for herself and is quickly becoming a new one-click author sight unseen!

Big City and Country Girl

What happens when you take a country girl and a big city fashion reviewer and toss them together? An unexpected and lust filled month of seeing the world through each others eyes.
Liz is trying to get a scoop for the local paper about the hometown boy done good by becoming a star in the modeling world. What she can't seem to catch is a break. Until she's spotted by Ian.
Ian's wondering just what this woman wants and is refreshed by her honesty when she admits she's there to get an interview with one of the models. Ian invites her to be his guest for the evening and in return she'll have to act like they are an item to keep the tabloid press at bay and he will get her the interview she needs.
Unforeseen circumstances lead to an interesting proposition for Liz: be Ian's companion for the next month and he will make sure she gets what she needs to hold on to her job. Taking a chance, Liz agrees, because hey - its not like there will be sex involved since Ian's gay, right? Wrong, Ian's bi-sexual and causes all sorts of fantasies to fire right up in Liz's mind.
During the course of their time together, Ian and Elizabeth get closer than either intended and parting is more than just sweet sorrow, its agony for them both. Only time will tell if they can find a common ground between Big City and County Girl.
